3K Family Fun Race

Join the Active Fusion and Curly’s teams on event day for a walk, jog, wheel or run 3km.

What an incredible success! The Active Fusion 3K Challenge, held on Saturday 26th January at Doncaster Cycle Track, was a fantastic event that truly brought our community together. We are thrilled to announce that we raised over £1,200 to support children and young people across South Yorkshire!

This event was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when we come together for a common cause. A massive thank you to Curlys Athletes for their support and encouragement. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, whether you ran, cheered on the participants, or made a direct donation. Each of you played an important part in making this event such a success.

The funds raised will go directly towards supporting young people in our communities, providing them with vital opportunities to get active, build confidence, and thrive. These experiences are often life-changing, and thanks to your involvement, we can continue to offer them to those who need it the most.

Sadly, the funding for these events has now come to an end. However, we remain committed to making a positive change, and we’re looking for generous individuals and organisations who can help us continue this vital work. If you’d like to get involved and make a lasting impact, please reach out to us at dave@activefusion.org.uk

Everyone is welcome!

On arrival, you’ll be met by the friendly Active Fusion and Curlys teams, and they’ll help you get ready to go.

We welcome everyone to walk, jog, run or wheel (wheelchairs, mobility walkers, pushchairs etc) your way around the track.

Please note, this event is open for all families and isn’t a timed race but more of an opportunity for families to spend valuable time together whilst staying active and raising vital funds for a great cause.

Supporting local children and young people

We ask for a donation of a £2.50 entry fee, which will go entirely to Active Fusion and help us better the lives of children and young people.

We’ll be giving out specially designed challenge medals made just for you, which you’ll be able to collect at the end of the event.

What happens on the day?

Simply arrive ahead of the start time and pick up your sticker from our team, and then it’s off to run, walk or wheel the course!

You’ll be greeted with music, smiles, water and a medal! It’s going to be an amazing atmosphere!

We don’t time the event, but if you would like to record your time, you sure can.

We’ve even set up a leaderboard where you can submit results for a record of your achievement. Keep an eye out for more details regarding this!
