Active Fusion Director and Duathlon Age Group double World Champion, Lindsy James, tackled an intense 6-hour indoor bike challenge to raise valuable funds for those with special educational needs and disabilities.
Lindsy embarked on the challenge at Doncaster Business Showcase on Thursday 2nd February in the hopes of raising crucial funds for the Unified Leaders Project, which strives to develop the essential life skills, employability and physical well-being of young people with SEND through physical activity.
The inclusive training programme helps young people aged 15 to 18 develop into sports leaders and positive role models for their peers both inside and outside of the classroom. Young Leaders strive to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance physical activity levels in order to better their own health and well-being and that of others.
The positive impact that the Unified Leaders Programme has had on young lives so far is truly incredible so there’s no wonder that Lindsy wants to continue supporting Active Fusion’s hard work.
