Kobi’s Story: Growing Through Play, Leading with Kindness
Kobi aged 9 attended Easter Fusion Camp at Carr Lodge. Having previously attended a different camp, he shared that he especially appreciated the variety at Active Fusion, where each day brings something new and exciting. The diverse range of activities kept things fresh and engaging, making his experience particularly enjoyable. Our coaches make it a priority to ensure that each day varies and you your are able to enjoy a variety of games, sports, activities and even some arts and crafts, so that no day ever feels the same.
All In For Active Fun
Kobi discovered Fusion Camps through social media, where he saw videos of other children’s experiences at camp and was eager to be a part of the fun and immediately wanted to give it a try! Kobi loves to keep active, so Fusion camps seemed like the perfect opportunity for him. He loves to play outside with his friends and be in the open fresh air, with his parents trying to keep him as active as possible. Aside from phsyical activity he loves to also make bracelets and expressing his creativity.
Kobi loves to work as part of a team and a key part of camp is taking part in team building exercises, which is the perfect opportunity to gain a relationship with your friends and build that trust.
A Love for Games, Creativity and Fun
Kobi has thoroughly enjoyed discovering new games at camp, with his all-time favourite being River Bank. He also had a blast playing dodgeball, diving right in and enjoying the fun atmosphere with everyone else. That said, he loved every game he took part in. Kobi always arrives at camp full of energy and joy, and it’s clear from his beaming smile that he’s having the time of his life. He also loves the arts and crafts activities, as they provide the perfect opportunity to relax and express his creativity.
Thriving Through Play
Kobi got along really well with the coaches, having met many of the team. As he puts it, “They’re really good at handling behaviour, and they know how to have fun, while also being strict when they need to be.” Our coaches ensure that behaviour is always managed appropriately, so everyone can enjoy themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Kobi is already looking forward to returning in the future, excited about the fun activities and the chance to get outdoors instead of staying inside feeling bored. It’s a great opportunity to be surrounded by non-stop entertainment and meet new people, many of whom he can connect with outside of camp.
Kobi’s Kindness
Kobi has been a delight to have at camp, showing up each day with a smile and always being incredibly polite, often offering to help the coaches. He’s also been a wonderful support to the younger children, assisting them with activities, and most importantly, he never hesitates to jump into any activity himself.
At our Fusion Camps, we’re dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential, uncover new passions, and develop a lifelong love for sport. Read more stories like Kobi’s here or discover more about Fusion Camps here.
