Continued Professional Development
We offer training opportunities throughout the school terms for teachers and school staff to improve their confidence and competence in the delivery of Physical Education.
Our training, networking events and twilight meetings are an opportunity to meet and share ideas about Physical Education, get involved in workshops and practical training and listen to expert advice from guest speakers. Training we provide to schools is both practical and theoretical and is tailored to each individual school’s need.
Active Fusion’s Head of Education Sophie Pyne also teaches the Level 5 Certificate in Primary School Physical Education Specialism. It is designed for experienced teachers looking to further enhance their skills in the delivery of Physical Education.
One of the courses we teach is Subject Leaders’ Training. This training is ideal for teachers new to leading Physical Education. Learn what to do in relation to School Sport Premium, School Games events and all about the Physical Education national curriculum.
We also offer training specific to different activities, such as the outdoor activities masterclass.
Our Physical Education Strategic Meetings are aimed at experienced Physical Education leaders to discuss the Doncaster Pledge.
The Physical Education network day is a free event open to all Doncaster and South Yorkshire Physical Education coordinators. Take advantage of training, guidance, advice, workshops and expert knowledge from guest speakers.
