Whether helping in our office or working directly with young people in our sports and community programmes, our volunteers make a huge difference in children’s lives.
To become a volunteer, all you need is enthusiasm and a desire to help. You can choose how much time you give and we’ll give you all the support you need.
Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference in the lives of people. The benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer. The right match can help you to find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance or begin your career.
If you’re considering a career in sport, volunteering with us can help you get experience in your area of interest and meet people in the field. Even if you change careers, volunteering allows you to practice important skills used in the workplace, such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, project planning, task management, and organisation.
We’re here to support the development of children and do so by coming together as a team to support and help each other achieve success.
By volunteering with Active Fusion you will receive our full support in helping you get ready and settled into your voluntary role right from the beginning. We will get you volunteering in a role that best suits your needs and what you want to get out of volunteering with us. The environment is warm, friendly, and welcoming, while there is plenty of scope and progression to further enhance your CV.
If you are placed as an assistant coach within our schools or half-term camps, you will get hands-on experience in the planning, setting up, and running of various sporting sessions and activities which will allow you to put into practice everything you have learned.
